Job Description

Koh Thmey is a leading company with newly endeavor in digital and media industry through its main brands is TNAOT APP. This APP is a content aggregation, publishing, and reading platform in Cambodia. The Translator Intern is mainly responsible for communication and coordination between Chinese and Khmer Content Departments. The Intern should have both oral and written Chinese-Khmer translation skill, news sensitivity and information gathering ability.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Based on content plan, online search for hot topic through Chinese news and translate into Khmer language;
    2. Responsible for on-site translation with production team.
    3. Coordinate tasks given by superior to arrange between Chinese and Khmer Content Departments.
    4. Other task assigned by company.

Requirements

  • 1. Chinese language High school degree
    2. No work experience is required
    3. Able to translate between Chinese-Khmer, with good writing skills
    4. Familiar with the news keyword, understand some news technical word
    5. Communication skill (verbal and written communication)
    6. Can work as a team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT management or related field

    Strong knowledge of App Development and advertising processes

    Proven experience in managerial role in minimum period of 2 years

    Strong decision-making capabilities

    Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills

    Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans

    Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable

    Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
